Bul is a private Israeli company founded in 1990 that started by manufacturing its own Colt 1911 clone known as the Bul M-5. It later manufactured a line of pistols based on the Italian Tanfoglio which was based on the Czech CZ75. This line of Bul pistols were all polymer framed, models included the Bul Storm, Bul Cherokee, Bul Impact and Charles Daly models. These Bul polymer framed pistols were very popular in Israel by security companies and worldwide by mainly police forces, as well as very popular in the US civilian market. Bul is known today as Bul Armory and produces high end tactical and competition pistols as well as AR15 rifles.
