Romanian WUM1 AK-47 rifles for sale in very good to excellent condition. These AK style rifles were made by Ratmil for the American civilian market during the mid 1990’s as new restrictions were adopted by the Clinton administration to decrease the importation of assault firearms types from entering the US. And so the Romanian WUM1 AK rifle was made. It is semi-auto and instead of a regular AK grip it was fitted with a thumb-finger grip to categorize it by the ATF as a sporterized rifle. The importation of these didn’t succeed for long since later on the AK style itself could not be imported although semi-auto. These are a result of the changing US regulations and were of a cancelled order by Intrac Arms of Knoxville Tennessee.
In Romania these WUM1 rifles were used by the Romanian Forestry Service and state programs teaching shooting skills to high school students. They were hardly used.
These Romanian WUM1 AK47 style rifles are in very good to excellent condition. The barrels are all chrome lined. Each comes with a 5 rounds magazine and sling. Over 1000 units are available for sale. They can be modified (to an extent) if needed to abide by your import requirements.
